(除非你得到最後的答案， 不然你是得不到全部的分?jǐn)?shù)的) You will receive some partial credit even you don39。t finish it. 如果你沒(méi)作完的話，你還是可以得到部分的分?jǐn)?shù)。For those who make a mistake in the beginning，I am sorry you39。ll get no credit/ nothing for that problem. (我很抱歉那些一開(kāi)始就作錯(cuò)的人一分也得不到) brownie point 的意思只是單純說(shuō)你作的很棒，You have done a good job! 的意思，典故: brownie 原是自家做的小餅干，小學(xué)生常帶此餅或蘋果給老師(其實(shí)是二十年以前美國(guó)社會(huì)的刻版印象留下來(lái)的),或女童軍賣餅干等。故 brownie point 原義為作討老師喜歡的事，現(xiàn)引申為印象分?jǐn)?shù)之意。The student who sent this in gets an extra brownie point. 我給提出這個(gè)問(wèn)題的同學(xué)一點(diǎn)印象分?jǐn)?shù)。老美很喜歡在數(shù)字之後接上 something 來(lái)表示多少或是左右的意思。，I got an eighty something. 或是 I got eighty plus. 有時(shí)候老美不喜歡直接告訴你分?jǐn)?shù)，他們會(huì)說(shuō)，I got something around the average. (我考在平均分?jǐn)?shù)附近) 或是 below the average (平均分以下) 這些都是值得學(xué)習(xí)的用法!雖說(shuō)直接問(wèn)人家考多少分實(shí)在是不太禮貌，但有時(shí)候受了好奇心的驅(qū)使，還是不免要問(wèn)一下，What39。s your score? 其實(shí)比較含蓄一點(diǎn)的問(wèn)法應(yīng)該是，Did you do well in the test? (你考得如何啊?) 或是 Do you mind telling me your score? (你介不介意告訴我你考幾分啊?) 如果是別人這樣問(wèn)你的話，你可以回答說(shuō)，I scored an 80 in the test. (我考了八十分) 或是 I didn39。t score high in that test. (我考得不好啦!) You have to work hard to get an A. 意思就是你必須很努力才會(huì)拿到一個(gè) A。You have to work hard to get a C. 意思就是你是決不可能會(huì)拿到 C 的啦! 由於第一次第二次考得太爛了，所以第三次要考個(gè)一百二十分才能拿到一個(gè) A/B。有一次我的學(xué)生就跑來(lái)跟我訴苦， I have to get a hundred to get a B. 對(duì)於這種學(xué)生，我也只能投以同情的眼光了。老美很喜歡用 kill 這個(gè)字才代表某件事把自己給毀了或是說(shuō)自己敗在某件事情上面。像是例句，Problem 4 killed me. (我都是敗在第四題上面。) 可能意謂著其它的題目都還作得不錯(cuò)，唯獨(dú)第四題作得是一團(tuán)糟。又例如你最討厭數(shù)學(xué)，每次學(xué)期總成積都被數(shù)學(xué)給拉下來(lái)， 那麼你就可以說(shuō)，The math killed me. Please remember to write down your name on the test. 請(qǐng)記得把自己的名字寫在考卷上。sign up your test 別人會(huì)誤會(huì)成要簽到的意思。其實(shí) sign up 指的應(yīng)該是指報(bào)名或是上課時(shí)的簽到，例如有些課老師會(huì)發(fā)一張單子讓大家傳下去簽名，以便統(tǒng)計(jì)出席率，這才是 sign up.6 /
