Housekeeping Staff Front Office Staff ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM—For evacuation of hotel staff, records and money. . amp。 Famp。B Cashiers Security guard at Staff Entrance EVACUATION ROUTES Route A Through the emergency staircases on west and east end of building。 exit of evacuees will be the emergency exits (ground floor) on the respective west and east end of the lobby。 then proceed to evacuation site. Route B Through the staircases beside the guest elevators of west and east。 exit will be through the lobby, then proceed to evacuation site on rout applicable. Route C Applicable when the fire is at the back wing of the building leading to Staff Exit depending on the fire’s location of the back wing to the second floor (employee passage)。 then through the lobby down, exit through main entrance. 1. When alerted of CODE 01 alarm, the Duty Manager will instruct Front Office to print inhouse guest list and proceed immediately to the Command Center. 2. Duty Manager will take the Evacuation Cards and arranges them by floor and area (from 14th floor down). Front Office/Asst. Manager to follow with the inhouse list which has been divided by floor. Each evacuation card should be arranged with the ―inhouse guest list by floor‖. Executive Housekeeper/Asst. will alert/summon enough the team members . Duty Manager, assisted by the Executive Housekeeper/Asst. will announce and instruct the team members which evacuation rout to take depending on the location of the fire as he/she issue evacuation card with the corresponding inhouse guest list. After all cards and inhouse guest lists are given to Evacuation Team members, the Duty Manager will proceed to the Command Center (Front Desk). Evacuation Team member with his card and inhouse guest list, will go immediately to the location as stated on the card and wait. On the way, observe areas/floors for signs of danger and report these to Duty Manager at the Front Desk. Tel No. 80105 Team Member a. Only when hearing Evacuation message (or order) should you start or evacuate your area. Follow the instruction on the evacuation card given to you. b. You will be contracted at your location in case of a necessary/update instruction. *************************************************************************************** Alerted by alarm, the following personnel should prepare for possible evacuation and be at their posts. All should remain in their respective departments or area until instruction or hearing the Evacuation Message. Under no circumstances will leave their area until wither all clear or Evacuation it ordered. Front Office F/O Manager amp。 Asst. holding another inhouse guest list to coordinate assembly of guest at the evacuation area. Check off names from the printed inhouse list to see that all are accounted for and report any discrepancies to the Command Center. Security Guard (Staff Entrance) – Upon receive the evacuation message, he should take time cards of staff on duty and to coordinate assembly of staff at Evacuation Site. Check off time cards that all are accounted for and report to mand Center accordingly. Kitchen – When instructed or hearing the evacuation message, Senior staff present or designated employee to switch off all appliances, main gas valve, main electrical switch, then evacuate the area. Accounting /Cashier – Alerted by alarm. 1. Lock all safe deposit boxes and safes. 2. Cashiers to place money in safe boxes to prepare to evacuate. 3. Any items upon instructions by Financial Controller. Other department heads – Responsible that all their staff are evacuated securing their staffs’ safety. Acmodation for hotel guests – When the evacuation order is given, the following will provide temporary shelter for hotel guest: International Hotel amp。 Regent Hotel. All requests for assistance will be coursed through Front Office Manager, as per guidance and instruction of the General Manager/Resident Manager. Evacuation message – To be broadcasted at least two times in English and two times in Chinese. **MESSAGE** Your attention please, your attention please. Please leave the hotel building as quickly as possible, please do not wait to take personal effects with you. Please close your room door after you leave and follow the Exit Arrow signs to the Emergency Exit. Please remain calm and do not use elevators. When hearing the Evacuation order, knock on all doors and advise all persons to exit the hotel calmly by the stairs of the designated route: Guests to the lobby of International Hotel and staff to the car park of International Hotel. Areas: Presidential and Executive Suites, Exercise Room, all rooms (from 1201 to 1226) and pantry room. 3. When all areas are clear, report and hand card to the coordinator at Concierge counter, exit the hotel to proceed to International Hotel’s car park.
