Purpose To enable the Human Resources Specialist to: ? check that the employee receives his/her full benefit entitlement. ? maintain accurate records of key personnel in the Corporate Human Resources Programme The People HYway. ? ensure that accurate records are sent to Aon for all Plan Members. Procedures The Director of Human Resources and/or Director of Finance should: ? adhere to the procedures contained within the Human Resources Operations Manual and the attached Status Change Grid. ? ensure that all ine is included ., all allowances, service charge etc. ? all Status Change Forms are signed by the General Manager. Status Change Process A Status Change Form must be pleted for all employees covered by The People HYway to include: ? New Hires ? Change of Status For example, adhoc salary increases, change in marital status, live in to live out, change of benefits status etc ? Transfers To be pleted by the receiving hotel only. This form will document all of the information that will have been discussed verbally at the time of the offer. ? Information contained within these forms will be inputted into the Human Resources System which will generate a puterised Status Change Form a copy of which will be returned to the General Manager. Human Resources Policy Manual Page 25 October 1999 Performance Appraisal Review Original Date Revised Date March 01, 1983 August 1, 1999 Policy Statement All employees must be appraised annually unless either the Appraisor or the Appraisee have only been in the position for short period of time, in which case the appraisal may be delayed for a few months. Long serving employees in the same position may be appraised every two years if their performance is of a satisfactory standard. Purpose To maintain and improve job satisfaction by making employees aware that the pany is interested in their job progress and personal development. Performance Appraisals should consolidate the employee’s strengths and develop programmes to improve weak areas. To review that year’s Individual Objectives with the employee (management personnel) and to agree new individual objectives for the following year.
