This paper will analyzes the interaction between English and Chinese vocabulary from the aspect of the definition of the loanwords, the way of loanwords, the development features of the loanwords, and the main stages of the loanwords in the language development progress. 2 2. The definition of the loanwords The definition of the loanwords Borrowings (loans) are known as loan words or foreign words (foreign words), which e from the absorption of alien language words. It is not only important mode of metabolism vocabulary, but also one of the factors of language and cultural development and change. The loan words may divide into the generalized loan words and the narrow loan words. Generalized loan words include inlanguage loan words and outlanguage loan words.
