The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the methodology, the principal results and major conclusions. An abstract is often presented separate from the article, so it must be able to stand alone.Language is the carrier of culture, and culture lies in language . There are mutual effects and promotion between culture learning and language learning. Culture learning is the foundation of cultivating crosscultural municative petence, so we should bine culture learning with developing language petence and crosscultural language petence. Literature summarization and theoretical analysis are primarily adopted in the thesis on the effectiveness of situation edy in cultivating crosscultural municative petence. The author discusses how to bond culture teaching and language teaching by appreciating the films and TV plays in class to improve learners’ crosscultural municative petence, and the author analyzes mon problems of English learners and crosscultural municative barriers and how to avoid or even settle these problems.
