However, you should contact your manager for his/her approval before asking for the data. ?Using the internal report that the other client’s operations group conduct on their petitors’ machinery maintenance costs is not permitted as it unambiguously belongs to the client and was developed using client resources. Even if the report contains only a summary of publicly available information and no internal data, it should not be used and would most certainly fail the Sunshine Test.
