【正文】 別。 Step 5 The differences between the present perfect and the past perfect 1. Howard Carter is one of the most famous explorers the world has ever known. Summary: The present perfect tense is used when we are talking about a past event which relates to the present time. (PPT21) 2. Gee Gould had been to the tomb before he caught a high fever and died. Past Present Future Present Past He had bee an explorer. The 1920s Howard Carter became famous. Summary: The Past Perfect tense is used when we are discussing the past and want to talk about an even earlier event. (PPT22) [Explanation] 借用學生所熟知的語境及相關圖示，讓學生充分理解過去完成時與現(xiàn)在完成時的區(qū)別。 Step 6 Practice 1. Show some pictures of another amazing person— Cai Lun. 2. Let students look at the four pictures, read the sentences and then plete the article. (PPT2324) [Explanation] 讓學生學會在語境中正確使用過去完成時，并了解過去完成時與現(xiàn)在完成時的區(qū)別。 Step 7 Homework (PPT25) 1.
