【正文】 ool. In the ing three years , our school life will be challenging. First ,we should learn to learn efficiently. Personally, I used to try effective methods to achieve my academic goals. Developing a good habit is also of importance. It really benefited me a lot to preview lessons, get actively involved in class, and review what had been taught after class. In addition, we should learn how to get along well with others. In school, I respected teachers and was friendly with classmates. It was with sincerity and faithfulness that we created a harmonious atmosphere. Finally, we should take part in sports and outdoors activities frequently. They were really helpful to build up my body and enrich my school life. No pains no gains. I am sure that with great efforts ,you will enjoy a colorful and fruitful life here. Thank you! 聽力原文: Text 1 W: Hey, how did you do on the exam? M: Ah, I got an 82. It’s OK, I guess. But I thought I’d get at least an 85. (1) Text 2 W: If you scare me like that again, I’ll yell and the neighbors will hear. (2) M: I’m sorry. It was too good to pass up. You were just sitting there, and I thought it would be funny to throw the cat on you. Text 3 W: When will you be home? M: Around three. W: OK. I’ll need the car after that. I’m going to the movies with Sharon. (3) M: Oh. I was hoping to take you out to dinner. Text 4 W: Airport, please. I’m running a little late. So just take the fastest way, even if it’s not the most direct. (4) M: Sure, but there is a lot of traffic everywhere today because of the football game. Text 5 M: I’m still wondering whether we should get another credit card. W: Isn’t that just another bill to pay? M: It could be. But we don’t have to use it a lot. I just want to build up our credit scores. (5) They’re not as high as they should be, and the only way to get a home loan is to have really good credit. Text 6 W: I don’t know if I can do it, Dad. M: Take your time, honey. I know it’s still a little painful. W: It is. I’m afraid, too. M: I understand. But Guy won’t do anything to you. I promise. W: What if he gets scared again? M: This is a safe place. No one’s going to make him scared. It wasn’t his fault last time, remember? W: I know. Poor Guy! He didn’ t mean to hurt me. Horses just get scared at loud noises sometimes. He didn’t mean to throw me off — did you, Guy? (6) OK, Dad. I think I’m ready to get on him again. M: How’s your neck? (7) W: Not too bad today. I think I can ride. (7) Text 7 M: What an ugly color! Look at that green?it looks like someone threw up on this sweater. Why would anyone buy it? (8) W: This color has a long history. Before it came to be on this sweater, it was the color of the year, picked by the top fashion designers in the world. (9) The year it was chosen — I think it was 1983 — it was on all the most expensive, fashionable clothing. People who can’t afford the best clothing still have to wear something — and they like to keep up with the trends, too. So, this color that you think is so bad was carefully picked and affected much of the world in its time. Now, of course, it looks less impressive than it did back then — especially being on such a poorly made sweater. Text 8 W: Something great happened today. M: What’s th at? W: Well, you know that my Uncle Jim has been very sick for a while. M: Yeah, poor man! How’s he doing these days? W: Worse and worse. Last week, the doctors finally said they couldn’t do anything more to help him. They sent him home, thinking he would die within a few days. (10) M: Oh, no! Is he going to die soon? W: No! That’s the amazing thing. When I found out he’d gotten out of the hospital, I went to his house. He wasn’t feeling great, but we sat and talked about some good memories we had. After that, I went over every day. I read stories to him, and we watched movies and played video games together. (11) And we laughed a lot! I don’t think I’ve ever laughed that much! Today, he had an appointment with the doctors. They only thought he could get worse, but he’s getting better! M: That’s great! So, you think it was because he wasn’t in the hospital anymore? W: I think it’s the laughing. They say laughter is the best medicine! (12) Text 9 W: I thought you went to work. Why are you still home, Daniel? M: I didn’t want to tell you, because I didn’t want you to worry. I lost my job last week. (13) W: Uhoh! What about the rent? How are you going to pay your share? (14) M: Um? I was hoping you’d help me out a little, Erin. Isn’t that what older sisters are for? W: Yeah, I guess they are?but I can’t pay my baby brother’s rent forever. We’ll have to move to a cheaper place soon if you don’t get another job. What are you planning to do? M: I don’t know! I thought my job at the theater was perfect. (15) W: You only sold tickets to people and helped them find their seats. M: Right, but I got to watch great performances for free! W: Come on! You could be doing something better than that! I know you’re a great cook, and you’ve always wanted to open your own sandw ich shop. Why don’t you try to do that? (16) M: Where would I begin? I don’t know anything about running a business. (16) W: Well, I do. I’ve been running my online store for five years. I know all the legal stuff you have to do to get started. And my friend Mike just closed his coffee house, and it’s the perfect space for your sandwich shop. It has a nice little kitchen in it already. (16) M: That sounds perfect! You’re a great sister! Text 10 Hey, class! Guess where you’re going for the annual school tri p? To France! It’s going to be amazing! (17) And guess who’s going with you? Yes, your favorite teacher — me, Mr. Fun! But seriously, this is probably going to be
