【正文】 ”在話語序列的層面建立了語境和話語間的因果關(guān)系；而從關(guān)聯(lián)理論的角度看，“so”與得出結(jié)論的推理過程相聯(lián)系，從而限制了聽話人對語境假設(shè)的理解。連貫理論和關(guān)聯(lián)理論從不同角度對話語標記語的語用功能進行闡釋，將二者結(jié)合更具說服力。6．結(jié)語話語標記語對話語的構(gòu)建與理解有制約功能。雖然話語標記語研究的成果頗豐，但遠不能說是徹底的、一致的。總的來說，在對話語標記語的研究中，有兩種不同的視角，即以話語連貫為中心的研究視角和基于關(guān)聯(lián)理論的研究視角。連貫理論認為語篇最重要的特性是連貫，這也是語篇生成及語篇理解中至關(guān)重要的。但是連貫理論沒有指出使用話語標記語的認知理據(jù)。從這一角度看來，關(guān)聯(lián)派的解釋力要更強一些。關(guān)聯(lián)理論的框架內(nèi)所做研究是以認知限制動機，語境或認知效果等為參數(shù)的，就話語標記語在話語理解中的作用作出了令人信服的解釋。但這一理論未從宏觀角度對話語標記語進行更充分的解釋。相反連貫理論卻從宏觀的角度說明了話語標記語的語用功能。這兩種理論對話語標記語有不同的闡釋，分析話語標記語的語用功能時應(yīng)把連貫理論和關(guān)聯(lián)理論相結(jié)合，不能過分地強調(diào)其中某一種理論。A Dialectical Review of the Study of Discourse MarkersDing Hui(School of Foreign languages, Yangzhou University, Yangzhou 225009, Jiangsu, China)Abstract: As a new research area, discourse markers have drawn the extensive attention of pragmatic scholars. However, researches on DMs, though rich and fruitful, are far from being homogeneous and plete. We identify two main distinctive pragmatic perspectives on DMs, ., the discoursecoherencebased perspective represented by Schiffrin and Frase, and the relevancetheoretical view represented by Blakemore and Jucker. The present research, based on the previous research on discourse markers, analyzes different explanations of the pragmatic functions of DMs from the two perspectives mentioned above, proposes that both the two perspectives contribute to the explanations, and neither of them should be overemphasized because they are plemented.Key words: Discourse marker；Coherence Theory；Relevance Theory
