The wealth gap between rich and poor is of much importance in making the society harmonious for the reason that the poor may have a kind of jealous feeling which is the potential threats to the whole society. What’s more, to build a welloff society in an allround way is necessary procedure to developed country. Nowadays, the main performance of the gap is the gap between cities and countryside, among different regions and different social status.In my opinion, the government should take the main responsibility of the wealth gap being bigger and bigger. It is between the east and west where the wealth gap is most sharp. This is the problem that government policy should take care of, such as industry in the east nurturing agriculture in the west, helping agriculture with more allowance and less tax, providing more work opportunities to people in rural area by enlarging the tertiary industry. Individual ine tax is also a way to balance the rich and poor by reducing the heavy burdens of the poor while make rich to help the society. The government can make sure to raise the lowest rural life indemnification standard, the lowest salary and pension standard. By enhancing the standard of basic education, boosting employment government can cultivate the working ability of the poor. This is a very important way to solve the problem of wealth gap from the root. The government collects large amount of taxes, but the taxes used in the education, medical treatment and endowment insurance are just a half of government consumption such as governmental transportation and acmodation. What’s worse, some people in monopolized industries, such as real estate and mining industry, are more and more rich just rely on the industries. As the rich, taking social responsibility is not only good for the society but rich themselves.
