Care in Elizabeth’s Love According to the love theory mentioned above, it’s out of question that Elizabeth should turn down the proposal of Darcy for the first time. Mr. Darcy is an impolite man at the time he makes his first courtship to Elizabeth. He tells himself to be advisable and careful and not to show a few outpouring of his interest in Elizabeth.
