【正文】 original meaning out of the original difference in EC translation. So the translators study translating skills into a deep research, and also make great achievements. Repetition is one of them. In both spoken and written English, people are not used to use repetition. So in EC translation, translators often use repetition.” (Li Ming, 2020:89) Cultural background “On the whole, both Chinese and western culture show their own characteristics. The main thought in Chinese culture can be summarized as vigorous promising, mediocrity and harmony between man, nature and anic whole view, unify your knowledge, heavy integrity , heavy moral light religion, patriotic idea, personality consciousness, should follow conservative, free detached, grade concept, male, fate concept, ghosts superstition, and so on. Western culture as equally broad and multifarious, it includes not only the ancient Greek national and the spirit of science, the theological spirit of law in Hebrew, , since the enlightenment of rationalism, also including antirationalism modernism and the modern oppose metaphysics postmodernism.” (Tian Chuanmao, Yang Xianming, 2020:24) The details above just tell us the whole differences, but not the clear information. I have to take a detailed parison. Since the ancient times, the Chinese culture has paid attention to the balance and symmetrical, it is the aesthetic psychology of Chinese people, also Chinese characteristics of the bones. (Zhang Chunbai, 2020:148). But the British culture and character are independent. In their language culture, a simple sentence, or even a phrase which is cut from a whole article, can also express the original meaning clearly. So in EC translation, the Chinese cultural characteristics have been reflected and the use of repetition is necessary for our translators. Effect of translation As a translation worker, we first need to know how to measure a translation standard. Stated simply, this standard is four word “faith, smoother”. Socalled faith is loyal to the original content. The socalled smooth, it must be understandable and the language is smooth, conform to the standard. A translation must be the modern language which can be understood easily, and there is no word for word translating phenomenon, no arts impassability, no wrong structure, no wrong logic phenomenon. “Both translation and writing should strive to succinct and try to omit some optional words.” (Lv Jun, 2020:178) But in practice, sometimes in order to get a clear maning content need to repeat, sometimes to express stressed the need to repeat, sometimes to language lively need to repeat. Thus when translating an article, we properly use some translation skills, to make the article be faithful to the original intention, and also more vivid. So in EC translation, the use of repetition is also necessary. According to different objects to repeat, it can be divided into many different repetitions. In EC translation, according to Chinese language habits, and in the proper use of repetition, we can reach an unexpected result. It is the function of repetition. Types of repetition In some cases, one needs to repeat certain words, and only repeated meanings make the sentence clear. In order to achieve accuracy and fluency in translation, we often repeat some key words. From the repeated objects, we can simply divide into: noun repetition, verb repetition, pronoun repetition. Among them, pronoun repetition is the most plex and fussy. Noun repetition In English, we use the nouns and verbs most frequently most widely. The structure of English is very rigorous, so the nouns express the meaning of content more clearly at a glance, but when it is translated into Chinese, structure bees loose, and meaning bees fuzzy. So in order to make the original meaning clear to us, we use repetition to clear it. It can be divided into the following conditions: A. In EC translation repeating the nouns which are used as objects in English: In English two verbs share one object in one sentence, the object only happens once behind the verb in the second. In Chinese, in order to make the meaning clear, and on the almost whole conditions objects need to appear respectively in each verb. Let’s take some examples to explain it. (1) Students must be cultivated to have the ability to analyze and solve problems. Target text: 我們必須培養(yǎng)學生分析 問題 和解決 問題 的能力。 (2) I had experienced oxygen and /or engine trouble. Targe
