Turning is the most basic machining method, the most mon, occupies a very important position in the production. Turning for processing rotary workpiece surface, most has the rotation surface can be processed with the method of turning, such as the external cylindrical surface, conical surface, and face, groove, thread and rotary forming surface, the tool is mainly used tools.This paper mainly discusses the sleeve parts machining process and program design, through the UG to draw the parts diagram and program, using the numerical control lathe simulation software to avoid the defective products and material waste, the process analysis to parts, processing entity through the wide number 980 machine tool, the anic bination of simulation software and the machine to good use, processing qualified product.In addition, this paper also introduces the selection and use of tools and in the process of attention, analyzes how to according to the part geometry characteristics of the design process and steps, select the relevant parameters and operating process.
