This delivers endosomal cargo more efficiently for lysosomal degradation, possibly enhancing MHC class II presentation. (d) There might be also a pathway, by which antigen can leave autophagosomes for proteasomal degradation in the cytosol, followed by loading and presentation on MHC class I molecules.
