The results showed that pretreatment with 3% mannose solution can significantly extend the vase life of cut carnations, and postpone the falling process of soluble protein content of petals, reduce malondialdehyde (MDA) content accumulation and to maintain cell membrane permeability system of the petals, to a certain extent improve the viewing quality of carnations cut flowers.Key words: carnation cut flowers。 mannose pretreatment。 declining of petals。 influ
