[U]少數(shù)；[C]少數(shù)民族The minority are against us. 少數(shù)人反對我們。The Chinese nation includes more than 50 national minorities besides the Hans.中華民族，除漢族外，還有50多個少數(shù)民族。33．risk vt. 冒……的危險 n.[U,C] 風(fēng)險；[C]引起危險的人或事34．separate /divide/partThis house is divided into parts.這座房屋分作幾部分。35．使用現(xiàn)在分詞應(yīng)注意的兩個問題（1）現(xiàn)在分詞作狀語與謂語動詞的時間關(guān)系?！ ‖F(xiàn)在分詞所表示的動作與謂語動詞表示的動作同時發(fā)生時，現(xiàn)在分詞用一般式。例如：The secretary worked later into the night, preparing a long speech for the president. 現(xiàn)在分詞所表示的動作先于謂語動詞的動作時，現(xiàn)在分詞用完成式。例如： Having finished his homework, the boy went out to play football.（2）現(xiàn)在分詞作狀語與主語的關(guān)系?，F(xiàn)在分詞作狀語時，其邏輯主語與句子主語必須一致。如果不一致，分詞應(yīng)有自己的邏輯主語，構(gòu)成獨立主格結(jié)構(gòu)。例如： Looking out of the window of our hotel room, we could see lots of mountains around. Mr Smith being absent, the meeting had to be put off. （獨立主格結(jié)構(gòu)）（3）現(xiàn)在分詞作狀語時，前面可用連詞when, while, once等。例如： When talking to you, I always feel happy.（4）現(xiàn)在分詞短語作狀語時與主語之間不能用并列連詞or, and, but等，因為并列連詞連接的是兩個并列的成分，而分詞短語只是全句的一個狀語部分，分詞與主語之間可用逗號。例如： 誤：Having been told many times, but he still couldn’t understand it. 正：Having been told many times, he still couldn’t understand it.36．動詞ing形式作賓語、主語和表語的用法（1） finish, mind, miss, enjoy, practise, suggest, excuse, delay, imagine, prevent, advise, consider, permit, escape, allow, avoid, appreciate, stand, risk, give up, put off等。（2） be (get) used to 習(xí)慣于 look forward to 盼望 pay attention to 注意 get down to 開始認真做某事 lead to 通向，導(dǎo)致 prefer doing sth. to doing sth. 寧愿做……而不愿做…… stick to 堅持 devote one’s life （time, oneself）to 獻身于，致力于 in addition to 除……外 object to 對……反對 on the way to 正要成為……（3）接v. –ing形式作賓語與接不定式作賓語均可，但含義完全不同。
