【文章內(nèi)容簡介】 其謂語 動詞要用復(fù)數(shù)。如： people, cattle, police, goods. Eg. People are talking about it everywhere. Cattle feed on grass. All the goods have arrived. 3. the majority of+復(fù)數(shù)名詞以及 large quantities of + 不可數(shù)名詞 /可 可數(shù)名詞的復(fù)數(shù) 作主語時。 Eg. The majority of boys like football. Large quantities of food were wasted. 4. 主語由 and 或 both…and 連接，謂語 用復(fù)數(shù)。 Eg. Both coffee and beer are on sale in the shop. My friend and my lawyer have caught a bad cold. The writer and the educator have visited our school. 就近原則 由連詞 or, neither…nor, either…or, not only … but also等連接的并列 主語，謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)形式按就近 一致的原則，與貼近它的主語一致。 例如： 1) Either he or you like playing football. 2) Either you or he likes playing football. 在 there be 的結(jié)構(gòu)中，謂語動詞的單復(fù) 數(shù)形式一般也采取就近一致原則。例如： 1)There is a speaker and many students in Room A209. 2) There are many students and a speaker in Room A209. 其他情況 1. 如果主語后面跟有 with, together with, along with, as well as, in addition to, rather than, like, but, except, including, besides等詞引導(dǎo) 的短語時，謂語動詞根據(jù)主語的單復(fù) 數(shù)而定。 Eg. teacher as well as the students was excited. beautiful girl as well as the other Am
