The study specifically aims to understand the relationships between human behavior related and working condition related risk factors, identify the significant behavior and condition factors and their impacts on accident types and injury severity and analyze the fundamental accidentinjury relationship on how each accident type contributes to the injury severity. The study reviewed 9,358 accidents that occurred in the . construction industry between 20xx and 20xx. The large number of accident samples supported reliable statistical analyses. The analysis identified a total of 17 significant correlations between behavior and condition factors and distinguished key risk factors that highly impacted on the determination of accident types and injury severity. The research outes will assist safety managers to control specific unsafe acts of workers by eliminating the associated unsafe working conditions and vice versa. Geldart 【摘要】 This contribution opens with a review of the process of manufacturing, a glance at current trends in the industry, as well as ongoing occupational health and safety (OHS) issues facing the sector worldwide. The chapter next looks at anizations’ pliance and the influence of legislative bodies on safety outes. Mandated safety mittees were described as they currently function in the province of Ontario, Canada, as in many other jurisdictions. Research is mixed on the effectiveness of regulation, although the evidence suggests that it specifically addresses more of the technical aspects of worker safety. The contribution devotes considerable time to anizationlevel OHS practices used in manufacturing panies today (., risk prevention, work reanization, and health promotion). This indicates inadequacies in Food Safety Management Systems (FSMSs), which are currently implemented in panies along the fresh produce chain. However, the information related to these inadequacies is restricted and little is known about the status of the FSMS. This paper describes the development of a tool for assessment of FSMS implemented in the fresh produce chain. The tool consists of indicators and grids to assess activities that are important for fresh produce, and the system output in terms of microbiological and chemical food safety (that is, pesticide residues and emerging mycotoxins). Three sets of indicators, one for each stage of the production chain (primary production, processing and trade), have been validated by experts and tested in panies. The tool enables an integral and prehensive assessment of FSMS across the entire supply chain. Users of the tool can identify improvement opportunities and learn how to develop towards more advanced levels of activities.
