Identity is not determined by the lineage, but it is the result of being influenced by society and culture. Language is a means of verbal munication. As the most important social phenomenon in human society, it is closely related to social development. Language has the social function of identity attribute recognition. Social identity has important effects on the language selection. With the joint teaching between different universities from different countries and development of training activities, the research of the construction and change of English learners’ identity will help learners readjust the selfesteem and selfconfidence in different cultural environment, so as to promote their learning in the professional field, and help English learners to get a better development.In the passage, the research participants are female graduate students majoring in English.
