In 1936 my real father,Al an Turing,wrote a bok about how I coul d be made to work as a ―universal machine‖to sol ve any difficul t mathem ati cal probl em. From then on, I grew rapi dl y both i n size and i n brai npower. By the 1940s I hd grownas l arge as a room , and I wonderes if I would grow any longer. H owever,thi s real ity al so worri ed m y desi gners. As tim e went by, I was m ade smal er . Fi rst as a PC(personal puter)and then as a l aptop, I have been used i n offi ces and hom es si nce the 1970s. These changes only becam e possi bl e as m y m em ory im proved. Fi rst i t was stored i n tubes, then on transi stors and l ater on very sm al l chi ps. As a resul tI total ly changed m y shape . As I have grown ol der I have also grown sm al ler .O ver tim e m y m em oryhas devel oped so m uch that , li ke an el ephant, I never frt anything I have been tol d !And my memory became so l arge that even I coul dn’t bel ieve it!But I was al ways so l onel y standi ng there by m ysel f, unti l i n the 1960s they gave m e a fami l y connected by a work . Iwas abl e to share m y knowl edge with others through the Worl d Wi de Web. Si nce the 1970s m any new appl i cati ons have ben found for m e . I have be e very im portant i n m unication, fi nance and trade I have also been put i nto robots and used to m ake m obi l e phones as wel l as hel p wi th m edical operati ons. I have even been put i nto space rockets and sent to expl ore the Moon and Mars . A nyhow, my goal i s to provi de humans wi th a l ife of hi gh quali ty.
