Assembly Environment (1) ?Build Assemblies apply relationships among existing parts and subassemblies. model new parts within the context of the assembly. ?Modify Assemblies the editing(left double click) on parts are reflected in the assemblies. replace a part in an assembly with a different part. Assembly Environment (2) ?Display Different Views of Assemblies display and hide parts. save favorite display configurations for later use. view assemblies with different colors applied to different parts. explode view. ?Manage Assemblies manage release statuses. ?Verify Assemblies perform interference analysis. determine the physical properties. Assembly Environment Building Assemblies ?Place Part Placing Parts into Assemblies (1) ?First Part Placed the first part should represent a fundamental ponent of the assembly. should pick a part with a known location, such as a frame or base. the first part is placed grounded and cannot be moved. should be as pletely modeled as possible. should remain grounded and not be deleted. Placing Parts into Assemblies (2) ?Placing Subsequent Parts the subsequent part is displayed in a separate window. use assembly relationships to position it relative to the first part.
