He then asked when Mr. Gilbert would be allowed to go home and the doctor told him that hewould have to stay in hospital for another two weeks. 然后他又問吉爾伯特先生什么時(shí)候可以回家，醫(yī)生說他在醫(yī)院還必須再住上兩個(gè)星期?！ ≌Z言點(diǎn)1 when連接的句子是謂語動(dòng)詞asked的賓語從句；and連接并列句，后一個(gè)分句中that連接的句子則是謂語動(dòng)詞told的賓語從句?！ ≌Z言點(diǎn)2 兩個(gè)賓語從句中的謂語動(dòng)詞：would be allowed為過去將來時(shí)的被動(dòng)語態(tài)，would have to stay為過去將來時(shí)?！ ≌Z言點(diǎn)3 another表達(dá)時(shí)間的常見形式為：another +數(shù)詞+名詞 another two weeks 另外兩周 another five years另外的五年 7.
