Then Dr. Millington asked the caller if he was a relative of the patient. 之后，米靈頓醫(yī)生問打電話的人是否是病人的親屬?！ ≌Z言點 relative常作形容詞用，意為“相對的”，這里作名詞，意為“親戚”?！ ?.‘No’, the patient answered, ‘I am Mr. John Gilbert.’ “不是”伯特說，“我就是約翰吉爾伯特先生?！薄 ≌Z言點 直接引語的表達法：句子兩頭用引號引人直接說的話，中間用“主語加謂語”表示“某人說”。
