Ask some students to answer it.「設(shè)計(jì)說明」通過多媒體展示Britain的地圖,來了解Britain在世界所處的位置,以及它的著名城市在Britain的位置,讓學(xué)生有一個(gè)視覺上的感受,進(jìn)一步引導(dǎo)學(xué)生的欣賞能力,提高他們的閱讀興趣。Step 3 讀中和快速閱讀(While reading and Fast reading)Firstly ask some students to read some words on the blackboard..These words have been studied in the last students read the text, ask some students to think about what subjects will be covered in the passage, Read the passage quickly and answer the following questions.(1)Who did Peter spent a week with?(2)Is it the language that different from England?(3)What are the differences in Britain?「設(shè)計(jì)說明」首先讓一些學(xué)生朗讀本課中的單詞,其中有些是省生單詞,這些在上節(jié)課中已經(jīng)領(lǐng)讀過了,再次讓學(xué)生的讀單詞,既復(fù)習(xí)了上一堂課的內(nèi)容,又鍛煉了學(xué)生的英語口語和膽量。培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生參與閱讀的動(dòng)力,體現(xiàn)了學(xué)生的主體地位。給學(xué)生提出任務(wù),帶著任務(wù)去閱讀,幫助學(xué)生預(yù)測(cè)話題,學(xué)生只要泛讀就能回答這些問題,因?yàn)檫@些問題主要針對(duì)文章的主旨大意和比較明顯的細(xì)節(jié)內(nèi)容。引導(dǎo)學(xué)生分析問題,由淺入深,由感性認(rèn)識(shí)到理性思考,從而降低了閱讀難度,為進(jìn)一步閱讀作好充分的準(zhǔn)備。Step 4 精讀(careful reading)Part one: Read the details below and choose which ones are true(T),which ones are false(F).() has spent two weeks in Britain.() in Britain are different.() habits and tradition are the same in Britain.() Chinese live in Vancouver than in any other city in North America.() people are proud of their cities in Britain.() will tell something more about Britain to Boris 「設(shè)計(jì)說明」通過判斷對(duì)錯(cuò)題,旨在幫助學(xué)生提高他們的發(fā)現(xiàn)特別信息的能力,加深對(duì)文章的整體與細(xì)節(jié)的理解,學(xué)生學(xué)到了這方面的知識(shí),培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生獲取信息和處理信息的能力。Part two: the students into four students have a petition..Choose the best them to read the passage again..Make sure that students can distEnglish in Britain is ___________from that they learn at 、Peter had expected to see_____________ in 、The best city for sailing and fishing is 、The weather in Britain is 、Local _________ and ___________ are not as the same as they know.「設(shè)計(jì)說明」為了改變英語閱讀課堂的緊張而又枯燥的課堂氣氛,我把全班學(xué)生分成四組,每一組正好代表加拿大的四大世界聞名的城市。給出的五道填空題,是考察學(xué)生對(duì)文章中的細(xì)節(jié)與邏輯推理能力。既有效的訓(xùn)練了在規(guī)定的時(shí)間內(nèi)學(xué)生的閱讀速度,也就是泛讀與精讀能力,又鍛煉了學(xué)生的團(tuán)體合作能力,讓學(xué)生體驗(yàn)和感受集體主義精神。根據(jù)學(xué)生的反映,評(píng)出最佳小組,給于適當(dāng)?shù)谋頁P(yáng)和鼓勵(lì),同時(shí)也加深了學(xué)生對(duì)文章內(nèi)容的理解。Step 5難點(diǎn)處理(difficult points)Write some difficult and new words on the blackboard..Ask students not to refer to the dictionary or ask me for an explanation every time they e across a new word..Encourage them to guess the meaning from the context..「設(shè)計(jì)說明」由于本課教學(xué)任務(wù)主要是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀技巧,文章中瑣碎的語言點(diǎn)我安排在下一課時(shí)。文中的新單詞和比較難理解的詞匯,我并沒要求學(xué)生查字典,也沒有直接說出他們的漢語意思。而是鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生根據(jù)課文中的具體語境來猜測(cè)詞的含義。特別要注意該詞所在的前后句子。這也是為高考做準(zhǔn)備,高考每年都要考察學(xué)生猜測(cè)生詞的含義。Step 6 讀后(Post reading):discussionOrganize students into pair may choose to focus on a specific subject about Britain, such as its history , its geography or cities ,based on the reading passage or any other resources they can students for any parts they do well not to focus on their mistakes, as this will discourage students from speaking in front of the class.「設(shè)計(jì)說明」組織學(xué)生根據(jù)文章內(nèi)容或者他們能找到的相關(guān)Britain的資料,在課堂上分成小組進(jìn)行討論。話題可以是有關(guān)的歷史,地理狀況,城市等。學(xué)生是討論的主體,我給予適當(dāng)?shù)墓膭?lì),一定不要專注與學(xué)生的錯(cuò)誤,因?yàn)樗麄兛赡軉适г谡n堂上發(fā)言的勇氣和信心。這側(cè)重與訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的開口說的技能。Step 7 小組活動(dòng)(Groupwork)Give some key words to the them to retell the text according to these words on the screen..「設(shè)計(jì)說明」學(xué)生已經(jīng)很熟悉文章的內(nèi)容和篇章結(jié)構(gòu),根據(jù)關(guān)鍵詞,通過小組活動(dòng)來復(fù)述課文,學(xué)生更加詳盡地了解Britain,對(duì)西方國(guó)家的文化產(chǎn)生了興趣。同時(shí)也練習(xí)了本課所出現(xiàn)的重要的詞匯。Step 8 布置作業(yè)(Homework)Do some exercises on the text to practice phrases.
