In this paper, the interfacial bonding strength of copper /PVDF substrate film which is a kind of flexible laminar posite film is studied using digital speckle correlation method. when the film is suffered external force, the deformation between copper film and PVDF substrate is inconsistent. Taking advantage of this point, we give a continuous rising force under the PVDF substrate until the interface is destroyed. In this way, when the bonding is failure, we can calculate the shear strength stably distributing between kPa and kPa. Finite element analysis is also carried out using Abaqus software. The strain distribution and the interfacial strain changes with the destruction occuring are simulated. Finite element studies show a similar result and demonstrate the effectiveness of this experimental method.Keywords: flexible laminar posite film。 digital speckle correlation。 shear strength。 interfacial failure
