In the design process, the knowledge can be consolidated, also I can enhance the bility to apply knowledge. Entire tank farm is divided into three areas, the light tank farm including 93 gasoline, 97 diesel tank area includes 0 diesel oil, 10 diesel heavy oil tank area includes heavy diesel oil and fuel oil. All oils are rail transport into the oil depot. Gasoline, fuel oil, heavy diesel oil are transported out of the depot by pipeline,but 0 diesel oil by the waterway and 10 diesel oil by the barrel and car tank cars. This design consists of three parts: text description section, calculations show portion and the portion of the drawing. The text lists the original design data, introduces the oil depot and depot security techniques and inlustrates the general layout plans and the process flow Calculations show portion determine the volume of the tank and the calculation of oil handling facilities, oil depots preliminary layout of the floor plan. Then calculate the diameter of the pipeline, thereby selecting a pump and check. Finally, calculate the insulation thickness and the heater area of oil tanks. The portion of the drawing is the key to the design, the final design drawings reflect the the oute of the design. In the conditions of the maximum to meet production requirements, do more economical and reasonable layout of the oil depot, and leave room for future expansion and development of it.
