So the students will be interested in this topic. I will finish this unit in 5 periods. As the first lesson I will pay more attention to the new words and the drills. In addition to what introduced in the textbook, I’ll extend more vocabularies such as: No left/right turning, No fishing, No swimming…in the following lesson, and I will also show them some signs we can see in our daily life. For example: Exit, Entrance, The disabled only, Bank, Clinic and so on. To do this will enrich the students’ knowledge on public signs.Next, I will talk about the students simply. The students of Grade 6 have learned English for more than 3 years. So they have got the foundation for this lesson. They are active and petitive in class. What we teachers should do is to make them be concentrated, stimulated and amused.
