The former is established on both the tradition of the station operation procedure and analyzing qualitatively the arrangement of equipment in Liuzhou South station. The later should be made on foundation of the characteristic of the wagon flow and the arrangement of equipment, especially the arrangement of station lines which affect the rout trains move in station and how much they interfere others to a large extent. The last step is to make the daily plan diagram of station operating according to the data above and wagons on hand which is collected, and calculate indicators such as average detention time of wagon in transit(), average detention time of local wagon for loading or unloading(), detention time of wagon in transit without resorting(), detention time of wagon in transit with resorting() and so on. Besides to analyze the carrying capacity of station is a vital indicator that tells us whether the way station operated is available, and in this design the carrying capacity of departure yard and rearend of marshaling yard is calculated to indicate how many trains can be carried in a day and night. To conclusion number 2 shunting neck is more powerful than number 1 and number 3 for the number 2 can work more in parallel. This design has devised the basic procedure of anization of train operation on basis of analyzing the wagon flow feature and the layout of Liuzhou South marshaling station and the arrangement of equipment.
