The width and depth of their involvement in China’s financial market are always the focus of all the interests, not only the macro adjusters such as government and the central bank, but many a domestic micro financial bodies as well. After the first foreign bank opened in 1982, the number of foreign banks in China has reached 183 by the end of 2021, accounting for an asset size of $ billion. The opening of Renminbi business to foreign bank, which can be regarded as a transitional change in China’s foreign bank open policy, indicates the historic beginning of the national treatment to foreign banks. No one can deny that their influence to China’s economy and financial side is increasing. Assessment to the economic effect given by foreign banks to the host country is being or has been introduced into financial supervisory authority’s strategic consideration. The purpose of this article is to discuss the economic effect and their prospects from both the macro side and micro side so as to understand their role in the financial system better. Based on the above, we can set up a defined starting point for our policies on the foreign banks entrance and supervision, that is to know foreign banks and direct their development in China in a loneterm and strategic view point. This thesis is divided into four parts. In Part One, I discussed the development and expansion of multinational bank in China. Ever since 1981, the number of foreign banks in China has increased to with the increase ,the total asset and liability also grew steadily. In Part Two ,I stressed the macro effect to our economy from three aspects such as the ine effect, the moary effect and the international balance of payment ein of foreign banks stipulate our economic development by bringing in large amount foreign investment and cover the capital and foreign ,the c
