But the horizontal parability and objectivity of evaluation results were widely questioned, so it is necessary to further perfect the land intensive use evaluation method in development zones, improve the scientificalness, objectivity application value of the evaluation results. By means of literature research, empirical research, quantitative analysis, etc. This dissertation started from the investigation of land intensive use in Dalian Changxing island economic and technological development zone, evaluated the land intensive use situation in this zone using two methods: the method in Evaluation regulations of intensive land use of development zone land and the binatorial method of principal ponent analysis and entropy method, and discussed the problems of land intensive use, proposed some measures for improvement.The major works of this paper are listed as follows:(1) Evaluated the land intensive use situation in Dalian Changxing island economic and technological development zone. Based on the investigation of land intensive use status, using the multifactor prehensive evaluation method to evaluate the status of land intensive use in this zone. After pared with the average levels of statelevel development zones nationwide and the statelevel development zones in Dalian, it was found that the land intensive use levels in this zone increased rapidly, at the same time, the builtup ratio, fixed asset investment intensity and the output intensity was low. (2) Provided a prehensive analysis of technology system and method in the Regulations. By analyzing the establishment of indexes, the determination of weighted values, the setting of ideal value .etc in the Regulations, it was found that the determination of weighted values and the setting of ideal value in the Regulations were greatly influenced by subjective factors, It was difficult to objectively evaluate the degree of land intensive use in development zones, and there was hardly any basis of the degree of land intensive use in different development zones. (3) Constructed the land intensive use evaluation methodology based on principal ponent analysis and entropy method. In views of the deficiencies of the method in the Regulations, the evaluation index system was simplified by using principal ponent analysis, the weight of each new index after simplification was determined by entropy method, and evaluated the status of land intensive use in six statelevel development zones of Dalian. The results indicated that the degree of land intensive use in Dalian Changxing island economic and technological development zone ranked last among the statelevel development zones in Dalian. (4) The countermeasures research of development zones.
