earch in P. R. China, and it has raised thousands of scholars. Since I entered into the university, I have studied diligently and conscientiously. With that, I have acquired a solid background in chemistry, mathematics and physics. With an overall GPA of , I have, for four years running, stayed among the top 5% of the class in all subjects of my undergraduate studies. The scholarships and honors are the reflections of my achievements. I have not confined myself to my coursework, however, I have frequented the library and probably read more chemistry literature than most of other students. By satisfying my thirst for more knowledge, I have kept myself abreast of the new developments in chemistry around the world. On the other hand, I did not allow my heavy load of study to deter me from taking part in 這里應(yīng)該分段 extracurricular activities. As the monitor of the class and a member of the Students Union, I honed my anizing skills and augmented my work efficiency. I learned to be both a team leader and a team player. Convinced that the meaning of life es from helping others, I have always been most obliging wherever anyone es to me for help, which has won me lots of friends. Such personality, bined with my intellectual vigor and determination, should stand me ready for any challenges. A precious aspect of my undergraduate education is my research experience. Education at the Big Name University emphasizes the importance of handson experience. In the first semester of college life, we were told to do all the experiments independently. Because of my excellent performance in chemistry and puter, I was elected to the Chemisoft Society, a society that develops program for Computer Aided Instruction of Chemistry. I am the only students who holds the longest membership over 3 years and one of the two students who were admitted into this program exceptionally when we were only freshmen. We worked in our spare time and developed a series of chemistry education software that are used in the teaching now. Our program named ―Periodic System of the Chemical Elements‖ was awarded the first prize by the state Educational Department of China. This is a scale project sponsored for teaching software petition among advanced universities. During the whole course of work, I improved my experiment operation and mastered many kinds of software, At the same time, a strong interest in materials is established, when I read a lot on material chemistry to solve the problems in the development of the software. At the autumn of 2020, Professor Cui made me a member of his research team, a key research team and laboratory in China, Where I was remended for doing my BS research under the direction of Professor Tan. The topic of my thesis is ― the Preparation of the Chisotan Microcarriers‖. It was a challenging topic because nobody in the college had ever tackled it. Together with my advisers, I spent numerous hours in the lab brainstorming, recording, observing and experimenting. There were frustrating moments of course, but we were able to e up with creative solutions and make significant headway in the research. In this project, by using paraffin liquid as oil phrase medium, I prepared the chisotan microcarriers through the suspension method. This can be used to hybrid bioartificial liver support system. First, We used clutaraldehycle as crosslinking reagent. Although the chisotan microsphere was well prepared, yet it had much toxicity to the creature. To solve the problem, I looked up a large amount of materials and finally selected oxided and circleopened lactose as crosslinking reagent. This kind of chisotan microsphere has good patibility and little toxicity to the creature. My director gave me high evaluation for this and my thesis got ―A‖ . Even though I was not the only one participating in this huge and ongoing project and I did not stay long enough to see its pletion, I was proud of my contribution as well as the accolades I earned from my professors for my thesis and I bee more and more fascinated with materials. After my graduation in the summer of 2020, I felt that I need more advanced experiment skills and I stayed in a state key laboratory of NanKai University, which was established on the basis of Institute of Polymer Chemistry, NanKai University. In this project, I worked on the nanoparticles of polystyrene and successfully produced 20 nanometers particles. In pleting the project, I used (GC), fluorescence (FL) spectrum, (NMR), scanning electronic microscope (SEM), and dynamic light scattering to analyze the polymerization system quenched in different stages. The FL spectrum showed some strange trend, and to which I applied a detailed photophysical analysis. Finally, I found out that phase separation exist in the monoproperty St /DVB polymer. I was strongly attracted and devoted my great effort to these fascinating projects. The research was fruitful. Several papers reporting our new results have been published in international journals. Meanwhile, I realized that multiple disciplinary efforts have played a very important role in modern chemistry development. It is necessary to further expand my knowledge. Now I am in desperate need of graduate education. In the course of study and research, unsolvable problems would e up whenever I went beyond my textbooks. So many tentative plans came into my mind but I was without adequate knowledge, skills, and equipment to realize them. I need systematic training at a more advanced level. Furthermore, I wish to be embraced in a professional environment to set out on the path toward my lifelong career: to be a productive and original researcher or professor. In my research attempts, I utilized for the first time all my intellect and knowledge to deal with practical problems and explore new knowledge. I can never fet t
