Compressedair powered vehicle designed in this project is just the “green car” which has pressed air as the power and exhausts zero vehicle emissions. Concrete operations are described as follows: The nuclear structure of the entire car is the driving axle which transmits driving force and the unique power system which belongs to the pressedair powered vehicle. First of all, this essay analyzes the domestic and foreign development situation of the pressedair powered vehicle. Based on this, this essay designs a pressedair powered vehicle which has bladetype air motor as the engine. The analysis of the type selection and the calculation of structural parameter of the abovementioned parts are made respectively. Then three main ponent elements of driving axle are designed in detail main reducing gear, pensating gear and jackshaft. In addition, the braking of the vehicle is designed and the type selection of braking is analyzed and calculated.
