The advantage of gear grinding is mainly used for grinding hardened gear, correcting the error of gear, achieving the high precision of gear. There are many factors that affect the accuracy of gear grinding, such as the generating motion precision, accuracy of tooth, grinding wheel, grinding quality of cutting, among them, the precision gear in the most influential one. Therefore, the improvement of gear grinding’s precision is the key to improve the machining quality. This article mainly researches from two aspects, forming grinding and dividing mechanism, meanwhile it analyzes the choice of gear materials and heat treatment.
