In 1996 by the State Sport General Administration of expert group evaluation, confirm the few NorthernStyle is a traditional Chinese martial arts of the 130th kind. Few NorthernStyle derived from Shaolin, promotion to the martial arts, physical fitness, health care and other aspects, it advocated martial arts but fitness selfdefense technique, fitness is all sports in general, selfdefense is martial arts sports personality, martial arts, left defensive fighting it lost the true meaning of martial arts. The use of literature, expert interviews, questionnaire survey, data statistics and logical analysis and so on, the few NorthernStyle in Liaocheng city development present situation research. Survey found that few NorthernStyle in Liaocheng city development situation is not optimistic, there is understanding of degree on the low side, elderly and young people involved in polarized distribution, mass participation enthusiasm is low, professional coach in short supply, the problem
