It is a great pleasure to wele Mr. Mike Wood, manager of Human Resource Department of the APP Career Training Center. Mr. Wood: I am Mike Wood, from APP career training center. Since the 1990s,our center has been a leading provider of powerful career training in China. We train officers for a large joint venture pany in China. Our professional development programs have helped many people and anizations, take their career to the next level. Helen: What kind of people do you think are qualified for your center. Mr. Wood: There are 3 areas we consider when we are selecting people for work within our own anization body. And I think this also goes for other similar anizations. Firstly we would like somebody who has work experience associated with the job category training which we are subsequently going to give them within in our own anization. Mr. Wood: Ok, let’s for instance say, if we are going to talk about someone who is going to operate as a geophysicist with a pany like our own. We would like somebody with practical experience for five years in the field of geophysics working in Chinese onshore fields within the PRC and therefore will be able to relate to the techniques that we would apply in our own environment. Secondly, their own educational background is of significance. Because in order to speed the progress of training, we would like to feel that they have had the right sort of university background to suit their own job that they are going into. For instance again, if we use the example of the geophysicist, it is better to have someone who has actually studied geophysics through the university system. Mr. Wood: And then subsequently have the practical experience, using that information and skill within the work experience which I just mentioned. Hele
