She even refutes Jason that if she is bad that is because the suppression from Jason and she prefer to die, especially the whole family. Finally she escapes from home. As a matter of a fact, she succeeds to run away from a home without any love and warm, and revenge Jason. Little Quentin’s running away from home shows her firm determination to break with her family which is the embodiment of tradition patriarchal culture. However, in the end of the novel, we cannot see the result of little Quentin’s running away, which provide readers with the space to imagine and with writer’s good wish towards American feminism.Chapter Three The causes of feminism of America in 20th century Religion To start with the male structure in church, it is said in Geduolin Prequel that female should keep silent.
