It looks as if it might rain. ☆ 比較狀語從句常見引導詞： as /so…as…。 … than … 。 The more…, the more…。 the same as…。 such…as… no less …than no more …than = not …any more than not so much …as… Eg ① no less…than 表示“在 …… 方面不比 …… 差” John is no less hardworking than his sister, but he failed in the exam. ② A…not…any more than B A…no more…than B… “正如 A不能 …, B 也不能 …” “A和 B… 一樣都不 …” He is no more able to read Spanish than I am. = He is not able to read Spanish any more than I am. ③ It is not so much A as B “與其說 A, 毋寧說 B…” It is not so much the language as the cultural background that makes the book difficult to understand. The engine of your car is better than ____ of mine. ones that ⑥ 比較對象一致、主謂一致及時態(tài)語態(tài)等問題 The population of China is larger than America. √The population of China is larger than that of America. ☆ 類比狀語從句常見引導詞： what, as “A is to B what C is to D” 表示 A與 B的關系和 C與 D的關系具有可比性 . 如果 A, B, C, D為數(shù)字時 , 則用 as,表示比例上的相等。 Eg The people is to the Party’s army what/as water is to fish. 人民的軍隊離不開人民 , 就象魚離不開水。 Intellect is to the mind what /as sight is to the body. 智力之于大腦 , 猶如視力之于軀體。 Twelve is to three as four is to one. 12之于 3等同于 4之 1。 The blueprint is to the builder what /as the outline is to the writer. 藍圖對于建筑設計師就象提綱對于作家一樣。 Reading is to the mind what /as exercise is to the body. 讀書對于思想 , 好比運動對于身體一樣。 Leaves do for plants what /as lungs do for animals. 葉子對于植物的作用 ,正如肺對于動物的作用一樣。
