The structure was characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR spectra，13C NMR spectra and Xray crystal diffraction. The crystal belongs to monoclinic system, space group P21/c, a = (7) nm, b = (11) nm, c = (16) nm, β = (10), Z = 4, V = (16) nm3, Dc= Mgm3, m(MoKa)= mm1, F(000)= 1920, R1= , wR2= . Crystal structure shows a distorted trigonal bipyramidal configuration with fivecoordination for the central tin atom. Due to the coordination of carboxyl group, the adjacent units of the plex is linked to generate 1D helical structure. Thermogravimetric analysis shows that the plex is stable up to 180176。C.
