【導讀】主語從句；表語從句；賓語從句；同位語從句。*If用來引導賓從和后置的主從.除此以外,不能。*Whether引導的前置主從,表從,介詞賓從,動。詞不定式時,都不能用if替換.(見例2). *if無權引導不定式,而whether能擔此任.從屬連詞that一般來說不能省略。關系代詞的選用較復雜，受條件制約。如先行詞為reason就用why,當先行詞為all，sth.Nothing,或先行詞前有first,last，only,few,much,some,或先行詞前有形容詞最高級修飾，一般只用that，不用which. Which與as的一些區(qū)別：。Which只能置于句中或。有些副詞和名詞詞組也可用作引導詞：

As brave as a lion. ? As busy as a bee. ? As light as a feather. ? As cheerful as a lark. 形容詞比較級的修飾語 ? 1. 形容詞比較級前可加 much, a lot, a bit, a little, ? slightly 等表示程度的狀語 : ? He’s feeling a lot better today. ? You have far more imagination than I have. ? It’s slightly warmer today. ? Now I feel a great deal more confident. ? You look much happier than you did yesterday. 2. 也可在比較級前加 Any, no, some, even, still等 ? Do you feel any better today? ? She was no older than Alice. ? You must go and get some more milk. ? This book is even more useful than that. ? He is fat, but his brother is still fatter. ? When he heard the news, he became all the more depressed. 3. 比較級前還可加表示數量的詞 : ? Shall I get a couple more chairs? ? My sister is ten years younger than me. ? Where can I get a few more puters? ? You are a head taller than me. ? It was onefourth cheaper than the market price. ? Cotton output was 30% higher than in the previous year. 在 as…as 結構中也可加入修飾詞 ? Petrol is twice as expensive as it was a few years ago. ? Their house is about three times as big as ours. ? There the TB rate is 10 times as high as in Colorado. Not so(as) … as 結構 :表示“不像 …… 那樣” ? The food wasn’t as good as yesterday. ? She is not so charming as his sister. ? I’m not so experienced as you think. ? The situation is not so bad as had been painted. ? 此結構中也能加入修飾詞 : ? My mand of German is not HALF so ( as) good as yours. Not so(as) … as 結構 :表示“不像 …… 那樣” ? The food wasn’t as good as yesterday. ? She is not so charming as his sister. ? I’m not so experienced as you think. ? The situation is not so bad as had been painted. ? 此結構中也能加入修飾詞 : ?
