【文章內(nèi)容簡介】 、 否定表達要注意的問題 1. 要注意否定程度的強弱和說話者的態(tài)度。 He is not richer than I. 他不比我富。 He is no richer than I. 他和我一樣，也不 富。 2. 否定前移。 在 think, suppose, imagine, believe, expect, guess 等動詞所接的賓語從句中，謂語動詞的否定應前移到這些動詞前。 I don’ t think you are right. 我認為你錯了。 hope 不屬于該用法之列， not 常放在上述動 詞及 be afraid 之后代替一個有否定含義的從句。例如： 問： Is it going to rain? 肯定回答： I suppose so. 否定回答： I suppose not. 或 I don’ t suppose so. 對于 hope 和 be afraid，否定回答只能說 I hope not. 和 I’ m afraid not. 3. “ there be no doing” 表示“不可能”，“無法”。 There is no knowing what may happen. 我們不知道會發(fā)生什么。 There is no denying the facts. 不可否認這些事實。 練習： 一、把下列句子改為否定句。 1.
