Deployment location: Phase one: Hongkong Data centres, Singapore Data centres, Phase two: other Data Centre Data backup assumption ?Data Back up windows Weekdays MondayFriday 10PM6AM= 8hours Weekend from Friday night to Sun =50 Hours less than 1% of the change of the new back up data each day ?Data Backup cycle Weekdaysincremental Weekendsfull backup Design assumption(2) ?Data Backup retention One month (30days) of the all back up data is maintained on B2D, then the last full backup of the month is retained on tape or disk.. For the data more than 3 years, it will send to tape and disk offsite. ?Backup to Disk storage(B2D) Media Agent server/DSsystem located in primary DC in ShaTian and Chai Wan thus daily backup to disk(B2D) are stored in ShaTian and chai wan DC. Apply the same rules in other regional DC. ? Backup to tape storage(B2T) Media Agent Server /Dssystem located in ShaTian and/ chaiwan DC with interface to the FC , each connected tape library with LTO5 drives. ? Off Site storage LTO 5 tapes are used for off site recall for long period retention Q: Do you require the tape library included as part of the total solution to acmodate cold data? Design assumption(3) ? OffSite Cycle Schedule for off site tapes will be weekly, most recent backups to tapes are sent off site each Wed. The last “Full” back up of the month will be held offsite on tapes indefinitely for future recall. ?
