He worked as director of Chinese Mental Health Association, Vice Chairman of Guangdong Provincial Psychology Professional Committee and Director of Medical Psychology Committee. He published 12 books including General Introduction to Medical Psychology, Introduction to Medical Psychology, Clinical Psychology, A Psychiatrist’s Advice, and a popular science book Twisted Psychology and A Psychiatrist39。s Notes. Doctor Huang participated in the organization of Nanda Counselor Training Centers and trained about 10 classes with more than 600 students. He had over 40 years of extensive teaching experience.
