II Abstract With the growing of modern science and technology development, application of the screw conveyor is more and more widely. When the material was added to the inlet orifice, and the shaft rotated, the materials was given the thrust by the helicallobe. The thrust of the radial contribute to the material and blade the friction, it is possible that the materials could rotate around the axis, but because of the gravity of the material and the friction which the silo acted, the material do not rotate with the helicallobe, it move along the axis of the silo by the thrust of the spiral blade . For the construction industry background, which is required by the screw conveyor design and structure in this design. The entire device in the transmission system for the movement of mechanical and structural was designed. The design of its driving system and the specific design of its main parts, which is including the screw conveyor spiral diameter, pitch, the shaft diameter of inlet orifice, the calculation and selection of the shafts, the middle hoist and the spiral axis were carried out. In detal, motor is through the power of the screw conveyor to calculate and select.
