Food culture is not to be overlooked as part of it. This thesis attempts to discuss the differences between Chinese and Western food culture . Many differences exist in Chinese and Western food culture ,which have positive and negative impacts. To avoid crosscultural munication conflict, we should be well aware of that. The thesis also analyzes the tendency of integration of Chinese and Western food culture and points out that we should not discard Chinese food culture characteristics at anytime.
