【正文】 第一篇：哈佛大學(xué)校長畢業(yè)演講 不得錯過的人生道理哈佛大學(xué)校長畢業(yè)演講 不得錯過的人生道理中國國家主席習(xí)近平16日在人民大會堂會見哈佛大學(xué)校長福斯特時指出，中國一直把教育放在優(yōu)先發(fā)展的戰(zhàn)略地位。中方重視同美方開展教育、科技交流合作。哈佛大學(xué)是世界知名高校，同中國教育界、科技界有著長期合作關(guān)系，取得了很好成果。希望兩國高校增進(jìn)交流，深化合作，更好服務(wù)于中美關(guān)系的發(fā)展。福斯特感謝習(xí)近平主席的會見。她表示，美中教育交流合作對增進(jìn)兩國人民了解，推動兩國關(guān)系發(fā)展起到了積極作用。哈佛大學(xué)與中國已建立起長期的重要合作關(guān)系，愿繼續(xù)加強同中國教育界和科技界的交流合作，為進(jìn)一步促進(jìn)美中關(guān)系發(fā)展作出貢獻(xiàn)。而15日，福斯特也在哈佛中國校友會上作了發(fā)言，她都講了些什么呢?“一個哈佛”的力量由于現(xiàn)在世界的各種挑戰(zhàn)需要跨學(xué)科、跨地域的力量，因此哈佛現(xiàn)在非常重視如何利用“一個哈佛”的力量，也就是如何將不同專業(yè)、不同學(xué)院、在不同地域的校友整合起來，來解決科學(xué)、人文、政策、藝術(shù)等方面的挑戰(zhàn)。福斯特說：整個大學(xué)就是一個大教室，現(xiàn)在這個大教室已經(jīng)延生到倫敦、孟買、舊金山和上海等地的哈佛中心。求賢若渴哈佛正竭盡全力在全球招攬人才。哈佛每年的新生超過6000人，來自121個國家，哈佛攻讀學(xué)位的學(xué)生中約22%的來自于美國之外，60%的哈佛本科生接受助學(xué)金，其中四分之一給予了國際學(xué)生。哈佛的中國學(xué)生越來越多目前800名來自中國的學(xué)生在哈佛讀書，占所有國際學(xué)生的16%。福斯特還特別指出，在過去4年，來自中國的學(xué)生數(shù)量增加了44%。中國古典哲學(xué)是哈佛第三受歡迎課程哈佛本科第三受歡迎的課程是古典中國道德和政治理論(第一是計算機入門，第二是經(jīng)濟學(xué)入門)。上學(xué)期有近700名學(xué)生選修了這門課，他們迫切地想學(xué)習(xí)許多個世紀(jì)前中國古代哲學(xué)家留下的經(jīng)典。一位學(xué)生所說：“這門課改變了我看我自己、看我的同學(xué)、和看這個世界的角度?！眎lab(創(chuàng)新實驗室)成立三年成績斐然福斯特校長特別提到了哈佛的創(chuàng)新實驗室(ilab)。雖然它只成立了3年時間，但是成績斐然。這個創(chuàng)新的孵化器常年開放，來自各個學(xué)院和專業(yè)的學(xué)生(包括波士頓地區(qū)其他學(xué)校和社區(qū)的人們)聚集在這里來做他們的創(chuàng)業(yè)項目。在這里，能源領(lǐng)域的創(chuàng)業(yè)家和熟悉政策領(lǐng)域的學(xué)生、創(chuàng)新的設(shè)計師和政府公務(wù)員可以在午餐時交流，工程師能在專家的指導(dǎo)下制定出商業(yè)計劃書。如今已經(jīng)有3500人參加了ilab的創(chuàng)業(yè)聚會、47000人次訪問了這里，孵化出了500多個新企業(yè)或者項目。如何使用技術(shù)?技術(shù)讓教育和學(xué)習(xí)變得更加富有挑戰(zhàn)性，因為我們備受信息轟炸，各種信息充斥。我們試圖將這些信息轉(zhuǎn)變成知識和智慧。技術(shù)能夠給我們提供奇妙的工具。但我們應(yīng)該如何使用技術(shù)?我們怎么去使用這些信息?我們怎么分辨這些信息?怎么知道哪些信息是真實的?哪些是正義的?你如何培養(yǎng)點燃創(chuàng)新和變革的想象力?我們?nèi)绾卫斫馕覀冏约?如何理解我們的價值觀?這些都是我們需要持續(xù)思考的問題。福斯特最后說：哈佛要以身示范作為研究型大學(xué)使命的意義、價值觀和創(chuàng)造性。她說，這考驗我們讓知識和智慧成長的能力、促進(jìn)個人和社會進(jìn)步的能力。這既依靠理工科也依賴人文科學(xué)，這其中包括實際的和超然的、可測量的和不可測量的方式。最后附上哈佛圖書館墻壁訓(xùn)言，大家互相勉力!此刻打盹，你將做夢。此刻學(xué)習(xí)，你將圓夢。(This moment will nap, you will have a dream。But this moment study,you will interpret a dream.)我荒廢的今日，正是昨日殞身之人祈求的明日。(I leave uncultivated today, was precisely yesterday perishes tomorrow which person of the body implored.)覺得為時已晚的時候，恰恰是最早的時候。(Thought is already is late, exactly is the earliest time.)勿將今日之事拖到明日。(Not matter of the today will drag tomorrow.)學(xué)習(xí)時的苦痛是暫時的，未學(xué)到的痛苦是終生的。(Time the study pain is temporary, has not learned the pain islifelong.)學(xué)習(xí)不是缺乏時間，而是缺乏努力。(Studies this matter, lacks the time, but is lacks diligently.)幸福或許不排名次，但成功必排名次。(Perhaps happiness does not arrange the position, but succeeds must arrange the position.)學(xué)習(xí)并不是人生的全部。但既然連人生的一部分也無法征服，還能做什么呢?(The study certainly is not the life , since continually life part ofstudies also is unable to conquer, what butalso can make?)請享受無法回避的痛苦。(Please enjoy the pain which is unable to avoid.)第二篇：哈佛大學(xué)校長離職演講Good bye and good luck!by Lawrence , President of Harvard UniversityToday, I speak from this podium a final time as your I depart, I want to thank all of youwith whom I have been privileged to work over these past of us have had ourdisagreements, but I know that which unites us transcends that which divides leave with a full heart, grateful for the opportunity I have had to lead this remarkable I delivered my inaugural address, 56 months ago, I have learned an enormous amount—about higher education, about leadership, and also about things look different to me than they did five years world that today’s Harvard’s graduates are entering is a profoundly different one than the world administrators is a world where opportunities have never been greater for those who know how to teach children to read, or those who know how to distribute financial risk。never greater for those who understand the cell and the pixel。never greater for those who can master, and navigate between, legal codes, faith traditions, puter platforms, political is also a world where some are left further and further behindbut desperately in need of , when sound bites are getting shorter, when instant messages crowd out essays, and when individual lives grow more frenzied, college graduates capable of deep reflection are what our world all these reasons I believedin the unique and irreplaceable mission of are where the wisdom we cannot afford to lose is preserved from generation to all human institutions, universities can look beyond present norms to future possibilities, can look through current considerations to emergent among universities, Harvard stands its great tradition, its iconicreputation, its remarkable network of 300,000 alumni, Harvard has never had as much potential as it does yet, great and proud institutions, like great and proud nations at their peak, must surmount a very real risk: that the very strength of their traditions will lead to caution, to an inward focus on pre
