The role of personality in anizational behaviour has often been debated in what is known as the “personsituation debate” ? To predict and understand anizational behaviour, we need to know something about an individual’s personality and the work setting. ? Situations can be described as being either “weak” or “strong”. ? In weak situations, roles are loosely defined, there are few rules and weak reinforcement and punishment contingencies. ?
