【正文】 《高級英語》課程教學(xué)大綱一、課程基本信息 課程代碼：080029；080030課程名稱：高級英語 I。 高級英語 II英文名稱：Advanced English課程類別：專業(yè)課 學(xué) 時：72 X 2 = 144學(xué)　　分：4 X 2 = 8適用對象: 英語（旅游管理方向）、英語（國際商務(wù)方向）專業(yè)高年級學(xué)生考核方式：筆試 先修課程：《現(xiàn)代大學(xué)英語》 精讀（基礎(chǔ)英語）1 4冊二、課程簡介 高級英語課程題材廣泛，時代氣息濃厚，選材體裁多樣，除說明文外，還有記敘文、敘述文和論說文，是一門訓(xùn)練學(xué)生綜合英語技能尤其是閱讀理解、語法修辭與寫作能力的課程,注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對不同體裁﹑不同題材﹑不同風(fēng)格的文章的理解和欣賞能力。課程材料主要選自名家作品，內(nèi)容涉及政治﹑經(jīng)濟(jì)﹑社會﹑文化、文學(xué)﹑教育﹑哲學(xué)諸方面。通過精心閱讀與分析，學(xué)生的知識面得以擴(kuò)大，對社會和人生的理解得以加深，分析理解能力及邏輯思維能力得以升華，英語語言綜合運用能力得以提高。為此，每課都配有大量的相關(guān)練習(xí)，包括閱讀理解、詞匯研究、句子釋義，文體分析、中英互譯和寫作練習(xí)等。 Featured in a wide range of materials with strong flavor of the times and various types of writing — exposition, description, narration and argumentation, Advanced English is a course designed to train students’ prehensive English skills, especially in reading prehension, grammar, rhetoric and writing. Great attention is paid to students’ development in prehension and appreciation of the articles with different types, themes and styles. Materials are selected largely from some famous contemporary masters’ works with respect to politics, economics, society, culture, literature, education, philosophy, etc. Students’ scrupulous reading and analysis of the articles help to broaden their knowledge, deepen their understanding of life and society, elevate their analysis and logical thinking and enhance their ability prehensively in application of the English language. For those purposes, plenty of relevant exercises are attached to each lesson for reading prehension, word study, sentence paraphrase, style analysis, writing and ChineseEnglish crosstranslation. 三、課程性質(zhì)與教學(xué)目的 根據(jù)全國英語專業(yè)教學(xué)大綱規(guī)定，在基礎(chǔ)階段的英語教學(xué)完成以后，必須繼續(xù)進(jìn)行更高一級的英語閱讀教學(xué)。高級英語是英語專業(yè)本科教學(xué)中的一門主干必修課，是低年級基礎(chǔ)英語課程的延伸和發(fā)展。該課程的教學(xué)重點在于提高學(xué)生閱讀理解和詞匯運用能力，即能掌握和使用所學(xué)詞匯，特別是同義詞、近義詞的區(qū)分和使用，正確理解文章的內(nèi)容和主題思想，抓住文章的要點，分析文章的結(jié)構(gòu)、語言技巧和修辭特點；提高學(xué)生語言表達(dá)能力，邏輯思維和判斷評述能力，能用英語解釋文章中的難句、要點；能用英語歸納文章的主題思想，并能對文章的內(nèi)容進(jìn)行簡單的分析、鑒賞、評論。 學(xué)生應(yīng)該能用辭典和其他工具書獨立解決語言和文化、背景知識方面的難點，增加文化知識，尤其是英語語言國家的背景知識和文化知識，更好地使語言和文化結(jié)合起來。 　 通過一學(xué)年（約144學(xué)時 ）的高級英語課程教學(xué)，學(xué)生應(yīng)達(dá)到高等學(xué)校外語專業(yè)教學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會修訂的《 高等學(xué)校英語專業(yè)英語教學(xué)大綱 》所規(guī)定的要求：認(rèn)知詞匯達(dá)10，000以上，能正確而熟練地使用其中5，000多個及其最常用的搭配；能熟練掌握句子之間和段落之間的各種銜接手段，連貫地表達(dá)思想；能讀懂一般英美報刊雜志上的文章、英語國家出版的有一定難度的歷史傳記和文學(xué)作品；能分析文章的思想觀點、語篇結(jié)構(gòu)、語言特點和修辭手法等。通過閱讀和分析內(nèi)容廣泛的材料，包括涉及政治﹑經(jīng)濟(jì)﹑社會﹑語言﹑文學(xué)﹑教育﹑哲學(xué)等方面的名家作品，擴(kuò)大學(xué)生的知識面，加深對社會和人生的理解，培養(yǎng)對文章的分析和理解能力﹑邏輯思維能力以及獨立思考能力，鞏固和提高語言綜合運用能力。要求學(xué)生掌握課文的中心思想，了解篇章結(jié)構(gòu)﹑段落大意，熟悉各種常見的修辭手段以及課文的重點、難點。每課都配有大量的相關(guān)練習(xí)，包括閱讀理解、詞匯研究、文體分析、中英互譯和寫作練習(xí)等，使學(xué)生的英語水平在質(zhì)量上有較大的提高。英語專業(yè)高年級階段的主要教學(xué)任務(wù)是讓學(xué)生繼續(xù)打好語言基本功，學(xué)習(xí)英語專業(yè)知識和相關(guān)專業(yè)知識，進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)大知識面，增強對文化差異的敏感性，提高綜合運用英語進(jìn)行交際的能力。 與其它高年級英語課程相比，高級英語課程課時最多，涵蓋面最廣；因此，該課程是保證實現(xiàn)教學(xué)目標(biāo)的重要環(huán)節(jié)。 四、教學(xué)內(nèi)容及要求 （一）目的與要求高級英語 I （教材：《現(xiàn)代大學(xué)英語》 精讀 5 楊立民、梅仁毅 主編 外語教學(xué)與研究出版社 2004年版）（一）目的與要求 Lesson One Where Do We Go From Here?
