Especially the engine fault diagnosis and detection technology plays a very important role in automobile repair. Relevant information shows that in the engine fault, about half the ignition system failure is about a total failure, so for the study of ignition fault diagnosis and detection system is very meaningful. With the Audi A6L automobile quantity in the domestic market improving continuously, the ignition system problems in the process use appeared more and more frequently. Therefore, the diagnosis and detection of the Audi A6L automobile ignition system mon fault is very important. This paper mainly introduces the Audi A6L automobile ignition system position,operational principle and the function,operational principle of the main elements in the ignition system , through the research of the failure form of each main parts,investigation to show that the probability distribution of each ponent failure,and the analysis of the reasons of the mon faults,and finally established the diagnostic process of Audi A6L automobile ignition system fault,providing more convenience for future Audi A6L car ignition.
