我院是2003年經(jīng)湖南省人民政府批準、國家教育部備案，集學歷教育、職業(yè)培訓(xùn)為一體的公辦全日制普通高等職業(yè)學院，由湖南省商務(wù)廳主管。學院前身為1954年創(chuàng)建的湖南省糧食學校和1978年創(chuàng)建的湖南省外貿(mào)學校。自創(chuàng)辦以來共培養(yǎng)了4萬多名優(yōu)秀人才，被譽為湖南外貿(mào)“黃埔軍?！薄ttached provincial government of Hunan and recorded by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China in under the names of Hunan Food School(founded in 1954)and Hunan Foreign Economic Relations and Trade School(founded in 1978), the College adopted its present name as a result of the merge of the two schools in college has cultivated more than 40,000 talents since its establishment and is reputed as Huangpu Military Academy of Hunan Foreign 、北校區(qū)和新校區(qū)三部分，南、北兩個老校區(qū)占地面積200來畝，正在建設(shè)的新校區(qū)位于望城縣丁字鎮(zhèn)，總占地面積706畝。學院現(xiàn)有全日制高職在校生6000余人，在職教職工411人，其中正高職稱12人，副高職稱85人，具有碩士及以上學位的教師112人，專任教師261人，“雙師素質(zhì)”教師108人。設(shè)有國際貿(mào)易系、商務(wù)外語系、會計系、工商管理系、動漫藝術(shù)學院、國際學院、服務(wù)外包學院、繼續(xù)教育學院等四系四院，開辦有國際經(jīng)濟與貿(mào)易、商務(wù)英語、物流管理、應(yīng)用韓語、會計電算化、軟件服務(wù)外包等31個熱門專業(yè)。Consisting of three campuses, Hunan Foreign Economic Relations and Trade College covers an area of 906 hectares in total, of which the north campus and south campus occupy more than 200 hectares and the new campus being built with a total investment of 590 million Yuan in Wangcheng County takes up 706 411 teaching faculty and staff members, there are 261 fulltime teachers, 12 professors, 85 associate ，我院將繼續(xù)實施“建設(shè)合格職院，夯實發(fā)展基礎(chǔ)；建設(shè)優(yōu)秀職院，提升建設(shè)內(nèi)涵；建設(shè)一流職院，打造知名品牌”的三步走發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略，大力推進“遷建強院、人才強院、專業(yè)強院、科研強院、管理強院、文化強院”六大強院工程，把我院努力打造成為全國知名職業(yè)教育品牌。湖南對外經(jīng)濟貿(mào)易職業(yè)學院是經(jīng)湖南省人民政府批準、國家教育部備案，商務(wù)廳主辦的公辦全日制普通高等職業(yè)學院，同時，也是湖南省教育廳重點建設(shè)的省級示范學院。學院堅持“以國際視野辦學，育‘雙高’創(chuàng)業(yè)人才”的辦學理念和“誠信立身，勤奮立業(yè)”的校訓(xùn)，形成了以外貿(mào)類專業(yè)為龍頭，以外語類專業(yè)為基礎(chǔ)，以服務(wù)外包類專業(yè)為重點，以對外聯(lián)合辦學為拓展的“四外”辦學特色。先后為商務(wù)行業(yè)和湖南區(qū)域經(jīng)濟培養(yǎng)了4萬多名高素質(zhì)技能型專門人才，既培養(yǎng)了如國家糧食局局長任正曉、國務(wù)院新聞辦副主任成小云等黨政領(lǐng)導(dǎo)，又培養(yǎng)了如新華聯(lián)集團總經(jīng)理付軍、威勝電子集團總裁吉為等商界風云人物。歷屆畢業(yè)生遍布世界一百多個國家和地區(qū)，為促進國際經(jīng)濟與貿(mào)易合作做出了重要貢獻。學院已成為湖南乃至中南地區(qū)外貿(mào)類高職人才培養(yǎng)搖籃，享有湖南外貿(mào)“黃埔軍?！钡拿雷u。學院地處湖南省會長沙市，現(xiàn)有南、北校區(qū)和新校區(qū)三部分。南校區(qū)位于長沙市莫家坳，北校區(qū)位于長沙市書院路望岳村。南北兩個校區(qū)總占地面積258畝。新校區(qū)位于望城縣丁字鎮(zhèn)，總占地面積706畝。學院設(shè)有國際貿(mào)易系、商務(wù)外語系、會計系、工商管理系、人文藝術(shù)系、服務(wù)外包學院、國際學院、繼續(xù)教育學院等5系3院，并設(shè)有高職教育研究中心，服務(wù)貿(mào)易研究中心，培訓(xùn)中心。開設(shè)國際經(jīng)濟與貿(mào)易、商務(wù)英語、物流管理、應(yīng)用韓語、應(yīng)用日語、會計電算化、軟件外包服務(wù)、動漫設(shè)計與制作務(wù)等31個專業(yè)。學院先后獲得省級以上精品專業(yè)、精品課程、實訓(xùn)基地、教學團隊、專業(yè)帶頭人等重點建設(shè)項目18個。學院經(jīng)國家教育部批準，與澳大利亞實行聯(lián)合辦學。凡就讀中澳聯(lián)合辦學項目的學生，我院優(yōu)先滿足其專業(yè)志愿，學習成績合格者，可分別獲取我院和澳大利亞博士山學院發(fā)給的雙大專畢業(yè)文憑，希望繼續(xù)深造者，可到澳大利亞就讀本科。此外，我院與牛耳信息技術(shù)有限公司強強聯(lián)合，實施“訂單式”人才培養(yǎng)模式，開發(fā)了全新的課程體系、教材體系，采用全真實戰(zhàn)項目、最新案例等模式組織教學，共同打造“湖南省服務(wù)外包人才培訓(xùn)基地”。學院現(xiàn)有全日制在校生7000余人，在職教職工411人，具有副高以上職稱的94人，具有碩士及以上學位的教師112人，專職外籍教師5人，“雙師型”教師108人，國內(nèi)訪問學者4人，省級專業(yè)帶頭人2名。近3年來，先后承擔各級各類研究課題99項，其中國家級5項，省級39項；獲省級以上的社科成果獎2項，獲湖南省高等教育教學成果獎4項；主編、參編各類公開出版高職高專教材110本。學院學生技能水平高。近年來，學生參加國家商務(wù)部、湖南省組織的計算機技能競賽、英語演講比賽、單證員、報關(guān)員、網(wǎng)絡(luò)應(yīng)用設(shè)計、會計實務(wù)與電算化、酒店餐飲服務(wù)和全國外貿(mào)技能大賽等
