alf of the world’s people live in percentage will continue to ,即“城市,讓生活更美好”。 We all know that cities, today, are under enormous and more people are moving into the world’s they grow ever larger, cities are less and less able to of people live in lifethreatening conditions, trapped in slums from which they cannot hope to escape, lacking basic amenities from fresh water and sanitation to basic ,越來越多的人們現(xiàn)在移居到世界各地的城市里,隨著他們的人數(shù)不斷的增加,城市容納他們的難度越來越高,數(shù)十億的人們生活條件惡劣,危及生存。Cities are also a major source of greenhouse gas those on the coasts face the risk of rising sea levels associated with climate ,而那些沿海的城市也在面臨著氣候變化所帶來的海平面上升的風險。 Let us work together towards wiser use of our planet’s finite natural us introduce sustainable practices at all stages of production, consumption and trade, from policymaking to the daily operations of small and large us do more to develop renewable sources of energy, and make them affordable to all let us work together to bat climate change, encouraging our cities and towns to vigorously implement mitigation and adaptation are the core tenets of the “green economy”.And all are essential for achieving truly sustainable development – development that incorporates social, economic and environmental goals for cities and entire ,更加有效地、明智地利用我們星球上的自然資源,我們要繼續(xù)宣傳可持續(xù)的發(fā)展方式,貫穿于消費、貿(mào)易的各個環(huán)節(jié)。 The Framework Convention is clearly working to safeguard health in all countries that have adopted and enforced , as the reports from States parties show, we have a long way to urge all parties to fully meet their obligations under the Treaty, and I call on the few countries that have not yet bee parties to do , we can halt the tobacco epidemic and the many problems it ,該公約顯然正在發(fā)揮保障健康的作用。 On this World No Tobacco Day, let us push for progress that will cut tobaccorelated deaths and enliven the battle against other nonmunicable diseases, helping to create a healthier world for ,讓我們推動進步以減少與煙草有關(guān)的死亡和加強防治其他非傳染性疾病的斗爭,幫助創(chuàng)造一個讓所有人都更加健
