Therefore, specifically excluded from the scope of this project are any work that: Project Connect。 Cost Management。 AP。 Fixed Assets。 Inventory。 Engineering/BOM。 Determining the most appropriate strategy for deployment Oracle systems across Huawei. Specifically, this will address the most appropriate use of Oracle’s MultiOrganisation capability which allows multiple organisations and relationships between them to be defined in a single physical installation of Oracle. Note: This ponent of the project will need to consider all Oracle modules presently implemented as well as those planned for implementation. These modules include: Order Entry/Shipping。 Determining the most appropriate target version of Oracle software for Huawei. Manufacture ProductThis includes production control (work scheduling and shop floor movements), management and scheduling of production orders and management of WIP. ProductThis includes inventory management, receipt and dispatch of materials and finished product, and returns. Sell Product Plan Production interfaceFor sales orders and monthly sales forecasts. Market Product Plan Production interfaceFor longer term marketing forecasts. Plan Production Procure Materials interfaceFor purchase requisitions from Plan Production and expected delivery dates and prices from Procure Materials. Manufacture Product Warehouse Materials and Product interfaceFor finished product from production and materials for production.The current systems within the scope of the project are: Oracle Engineering amp。 Oracle Planning module (including interface to Oracle Purchasing module). Sales forecast accuracy is estimated to be approximately 50%. Changes to orders are not updated into Oracle Order Entry in a timely manner. Critical spare parts are often outofstock while an over stock of noncritical spare parts exists. While BOM accuracy has been improved and rated at over 90%, problems still exist with the timing of BOM updates (sales orders use out of date BOMs).D, Pilot amp。 MRP only runs every 2 weeks however major changes can occur within these two week intervals. Production orders are controlled by a Foxpro system rather than Oracle WIP. Routing data is acknowledged to be poor. (eg. in Production Control the routing of work orders through the production steps。 and Product costing to establish the costs associated with each production step).Intangible BenefitsThe project will provide the following intangible benefits: Production planning and procurement planning are brought together as one operation using the same MRP run.
